Wavetick's brand new platform allows the sale or license of beats on an unlimited or limited edition basis through to full work ownership. We sat down with the team to discuss their needs as they were looking to increase engagement and signups to the platform across two categories; Beat Makers and Beat Sellers.

In this stage, we:

  • Conduct in-depth discussions with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and target audience.
  • Research the industry, market trends, and competitors to gain valuable insights.
  • Develop a comprehensive video concept, including the storyline, script, visual elements, and overall creative direction.
  • Create a detailed production plan, outlining the timeline, budget, resources, and logistics required for the video shoot.

Throughout the planning and discovery phase we found that the idea approach would be to produce separate videos aimed at beat sellers and beat makers, then combine the two for a third video aimed at the mass market. Because the audiences are so different, we needed to create something that was ultimately consistent while changing up the messaging being used.

Professional Video Filming and Production

In this phase we got to work and created the initial rounds of edits from a now large pool of content created based on the initial storyboards. This took place across South Yorkshire and the majority being produced in London. We also produced the original animated ident for the brand that will be used across their media for the foreseeable future.

In this stage, we:

  • Set up the filming location, ensuring optimal lighting, sound, and aesthetics.
  • Employ state-of-the-art equipment and technology to capture stunning visuals.
  • Direct and guide the talent, ensuring they deliver their actions with authenticity and professionalism.
  • Capture multiple shots and angles to provide variety and enhance the visual storytelling.

With a lean and robust team we managed to make good time on the original schedule so we could get to work in the cutting room.

Video Post-production

Creative Video Editing and Post-production

Once the filming is complete, we enter the post-production stage, where we bring all the elements together to craft a polished and visually captivating video. This stage involves video editing, adding special effects, enhancing the audio, and incorporating graphics or animations as needed.

In this stage, we:

  • Carefully review and select the best footage captured during filming.
  • Edit the video, ensuring smooth transitions, proper pacing, and visual continuity.
  • Enhance the video with colour correction, visual effects, and motion graphics to create a visually stunning result.
  • Incorporate appropriate music, sound effects, and voiceover to enhance the overall impact of the video.

We ensured everything was on brand from the colour correction in line with the visuals used on the website, through to the fonts and using tracks from the Wavetick library over the videos. We created edits in landscape and portrait, so the client had multiple platforms they could run the ads such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.

Video Delivery

Video Finalization and Delivery

The final stage of the video production process involves the finalization and delivery of the completed video. This stage focuses on quality control, client feedback, and ensuring that the video is ready for distribution across various platforms.

In this stage, we:

  • Review the final video to ensure it meets the client's expectations and adheres to our high standards of quality.
  • Incorporate any necessary revisions or changes based on client feedback.
  • Optimise the video for different platforms, formats, and resolutions to maximise its reach and impact.
  • Deliver the final videos to the client in the desired format, whether it's for web, broadcast, or other specific requirements.

Wavetick immediately implemented these videos in their ads funnel after signoff and saw quick results, with a large increase in users signing up to the site, the videos being used in PR that generated tens of thousands of click throughs and the videos were also posted organically to their instagram feed, being their most popular posts yet.

Off the back off this initial campaign we moved into a new project, aimed at further refining how we hit users in different parts of the sales cycle based on audience segmentation.
